We do hope you’ll consider joining us for worship one Sunday. We would love to have you as our guest.

StanDear Friends,

First Baptist Church is a fellowship of believers on mission. Our faith family is dedicated to sharing the Gospel of Christ to those in worship and in our community. We are committed to Christ’s call to love Him and love our neighbors.

If you do not have a church family, let me invite you to come and be part of our family. FBC has a rich heritage and effective experience in growing Christians in their walk of faith. We have solid educational programs for children, teenagers, and adults as well as mission opportunities that will make a difference in everyone’s life.

We invite you and your family to join us on mission, for education and in worship.

In Christ,

We have two worship services each week.

At 8:30a, our congregation gathers for a what can best be described as a blended worship service combining some newer praise choruses with the familiar hymns we love. This service is a little more informal as we worship together. Folks will show up in jeans and a polo sitting next to another in a suit. Come and be comfortable.

At 10:30a, our congregation gathers for our traditional worship service. Our service is lead by our adult choir with frequent appearances by our handbell choir, special ensembles, and other musical groups. Scriptures are read, songs are sung, and the Word is preached. While this service is more formal in structure than our earlier service, this is still an environment where how we worship is more important than what we look like doing it.

We have an entire ministry geared to your kids. On Sunday mornings, kids from 4 years old to 3rd grade enjoy Sunday Morning Live, which is our version of children’s church. Kids begin with you, the parents, in our worship services. After a few minutes, they dismiss to our Fellowship Hall for SML. You may claim them at the conclusion of the service. You are welcome to accompany them to see what it’s all about. We want to make sure you’re more than comfortable with how your child is being cared for. We have many other services for your kids throughout the week and year as well. Visit our Children’s Ministry page for more information.

If your child is younger than 4 years of age, there is a fully equipped nursery with loving church members who would love to serve you by keeping your kids. All our volunteers have been background checked and have been cleared to work with children.
