Refiner’s Fire . . .

Vacation Bible School, Youth Mission Trip, Eddie’s Tenth Anniversary, Mrs. Faye Robinson’s Home going, Annual Fourth of July Picnic, Music week at Caswell, Mission trip to Graffiti House and a Blood Drive all in July have showed First Baptist to be a mission point for God even when we are in the depth of Summer Vacation.  The volunteer hours and energy to accomplish all of this has to come from a heart of love.  One of the volunteers was overheard to say, “There’s no doubt they were serving the Lord, they wouldn’t work that hard for money.”

To all the volunteers so far this month, thank you!  Much is accomplished for the Lord when we share the work together.  This church puts its faith into action.  I know some days there is the feeling we need a vacation from the vacation.  Just remember, everyday is a blessing when we live it for the Lord.  I am grateful to be your pastor and serve along side each and every one of you.  See you at Church.
