What we believe

Theological Awareness

It is our hope that we can begin a journey and grow with you and help you grow in your own spiritual journey. We believe in the Bible as the foundational book of doctrine. We also believe in salvation through faith in Jesus as Savior and Lord. We seek to provide a well-rounded understanding of faith in God through the Bible, knowledge of history and practice of faith. We believe in the one triune God: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

We believe you can join the Christian movement anywhere, just know you are welcome to join it here with us.

Baptism

Jesus models baptism by immersion, in Matthew 3. 13-15, as a sign of salvation in response to the gospel.

Dr. Stanley Spence has a passion for preaching and teaching the Gospel. He has been with First Baptist Church since 2008.

Dr. Rice has been serving FBC since the summer of 2023. He loves to see the congregation empowered in worship and music ministry.
